Avvol-Tec® horizontal wrapper
Avvol-Tec® horizontal wrappers significantly simplify and speed up the packaging process. The machine system securely fixes packaged goods with a wide range of dimensions and weights with maximum flexibility. We offer six different Avvol-Tec® sets, comprising a tray, the outer carton, the required Avvol-Tec® wrapping film and use of the horizontal wrapper incl. service and maintenance.

Use
The packaged item is placed on a suitable corrugated cardboard tray. The tray defines the volume of the shipping carton. Depending on the machine, the tray is fed through the machine manually or fully automatically and wrapped with a special Avvol-Tec® film, eliminating the need for additional cavity fill. The tray with the fixed packaged goods can then be placed in the waiting outer carton. The automatic packaging system can be easily integrated into existing packaging processes and is suitable not only for series but also for a chaotic production sequence. Our set offers are available with the Avvol-Tec® semi-automatic and fully automatic machines – even for small quantities from 2,500 pieces per year. This allows you to experience the benefits of the flexible Avvol-Tec in your own packaging process.
Horizontal wrapper machine types
Semi-automatic Avvol-Tec®
The Avvol-Tec® semi-automatic machine has a roller conveyor in both the infeed and outfeed so it can be perfectly integrated into packaging lines. Products are placed on the pre-defined tray and manually guided through the wrapping ring. The feed rate and number of wraps can be set by the operator.
Fully-automatic Avvol-Tec®
The fully automatic Avvol-Tec® has a roller conveyor and pneumatic side guide rollers in both the infeed and outfeed. Sensors in the machine enable the system to automatically recognise which tray is ready for wrapping. The machine automatically draws in the tray, starts the pre-set wrapping programme and then guides the finished wrapped tray out of the machine using the side guide rollers. This allows the fully automatic machine to be perfectly integrated into packaging lines.
Avvol-Tec® horizontal wrapper sets
All sets include a tray, outer carton, film in rolls and machine use incl. maintenance. Avvol-Tec film is available in widths of 80 mm (semi-automatic) and 100 mm (fully automatic) in thicknesses from 15 to 23 μm.
